My angel fish just laid eggs on part of my hob. i took and put it in a floating breeder box and added an air stone. They just laid them last night and this morning about a dozen eggs are white. What causes this and how do i prevent it or are they suppose to turn white?

They are bad or not fertilized. You should remove them. Otherwise, they will get fungus and the fungus can spread to the good eggs Are they angels by themselves?

Thanks for the info. No they arent by themselves i wasnt even sure i had a pair. so thats why i blocked them off and added an air stone.

If you artificially rear eggs you should add methalyn blue. Helps with egg fungus. But white ones are infertile
