That ray is around 12 inches.

Those 2 pdr hybrids and the marble female are awesome. Who is the marble pregnant by?

Toss up b/w PDR/Pear or Henlei/PDR, she got pregnant before I separated the males and females.

Stunning collection! How do you keep track of which rays are breeding? Are the females kept together?

All the females are kept now separately and I throw the male I want to father the next batch.

Amazing collection you have there. The sand does work great in bringing out the colors in your rays. Your leo/pearl is a stunner, do most turm out like that or did you just get a nice one?

I paid through the roof for that piece. Prices have since dropped, but she remains my favorite.

Beautiful rays all around, but I have to say I am very impressed with the PearlxPDR and the MantillaxPDR. Did you get these as adults? Or did you grow them out? If so I would be very interested to see pictures of them at a small size...see how their patterns evolved to where they are now.

I grow all of them out from pups to learn all I can from the rays life cycle of each species, that why I still behind on the pure black rays which are only less than a year old. They probably take another year at least before reaching maturity.

The first and second piece paired off, babies are moving in her belly... it's been a long wait. I hope I get to the pups in time and they don't get eaten. Thinking of a solution soon.

I had to wait for my own breed stock to mature cos the male was a juve when those pics were taken. I wanted to see the result of mixing her back with a PDR, so did not use the other mature PDR pearl male, whom she had already bred twice with a year ago.


I can't wait too, hope it pays off.
