Thanks all, I still live at home so I have a 11x11 fish room. Used to be brothers bedroom.
That would be 1 of my tyre track eels, he's just over 2ft long and has a 2.5" girth.
Here's him back in august out the tube before he was transferred...
for size referance thats a 50mm pond air ball just infront of him.

this is him at the start of june when i got him....
as I said the picture above is in beginning of august.
Oh and he does tend to hide most the time during the day now, but comes out in the evening when feeding time is near.
