pits are banned in the uk but still iv heard of the Colby line, spring pole is a good work-out for any dog, i like my poles to be low enought to let my dogs have there back feet on the floor.

this is a dog we met on a walk over are local park
he had his lead put in a tree as a make-shift spring-thing:grinno:
so was the right size 4 the rotty my (but not my stafford:screwy: )

how long does your colby hold his bite on a havg?

He tears all saplings out of the ground , I'm talking 20 ft 1's that are 3" in diameter & tears every branch up to the 7ft mark. On the pole I never really timed him , but it's quite a long time He just keeps helicoptering & making monkey noises while covering his front legs chest & belly w/ saliva.PRETTY GROSS ! I hear ya about the height of the pole too , thats my uncles Dog in the Pic & I've told him the same.He learned after the Dog injured himself & needed a costly vet visit ! Shame what has happened in the UK w/ these dogs same as it's a shame what happens w/ many of them here in the states. Those Irish Staffs from what I've heard are the closest thing to a real APBT. a friend of mine in the UK lost alot of $ recently , by trying to Import a Black Champs AB , because theirs APBT bout 7 gens. back in it's pedigree.
Terrible business..............
Thanks for Sharing Your Dogs w/ us Bolty You have a nice assortment :headbang2

i no some1 that had to send there AB pup back to the breeded as the DEFRA would not let the dog out of the air-port unless it was dead (PTS on the grounds)
i cant think what the lines was but pit was used in the breeding in the line to produce more colour

irish staffs are just the original staff, the staffordshire bull terrier is the show type bred 4 looks, but at the same time has had helth probs bred in also, HD, eye probs, L2h, back probs, the original standard 4 the staff was the same weight as now/show but the original standard was 18inch to the withers this was dropped by 2inches.
the irish (still a 18/20inch dog) is a working dog so no need to change the way they look, leggy, lean but still powerfull.

helicoptering/monkey noises :WTF:

have a look at this free add site, they have "pits" and "rec nose's" 4 sale from the uk, you tell me?

moet ppl that see my barny (rubys dad red nose's ) think he is a pit, thing is he has a saggy face and is 28inches to the withers:ROFL:

Thats Helicoptering......LOL!

Mine makes even crazier noises I wish I had a Digi Vid Cam......Maybe By Crimbo Day?

Kool Vid.......is that a leash Your using ? You should use a hide or a jute or firehose tug instead , the Dogs get better grips IMO & is prolly safer for the teeth.

The APBT in The BlackChamp AB is of Eli lines, Weavers Zydeco Dancer(APBT/DAM) bred to Licthardts Felony(AB/SIRE) a real hard crazy fur drive bulldog, bred to a real Gamebred APBT. That was the original outcross & was bred exclusively back to AB from there on out , to make the line officially AB. It takes about 7 gens. I believe? but don't quote Me.

I'm not sure about that 1, it's a screwy concept that wouldn't be tolererated by most orgs. or breeds . But You gotta love a good Bulldog when You see 1 ! I'll be getting My Pup end of January :headbang2

Out of a very good breeding of Hard as nails Bulldogs The father has multiple Vrated SchH 3 titles , some Irondog titles & a couple of other Misc. titles & The mother is a Young up & comer & does very intense bitework. I'll post some pics @ a later date.

Kody........Looks like a fine bulldog, looks a lil leggy but'll prolly fill out over the next year & a half. Hows the dog bred ?

My pit mix Chopper. I didn't give him that name, I got him when he was 1.5years old.
And my room mates rott x shepard being humiliates by a friends Yorkie.
