Wel, I get a chance to post up my lil puppy (my brothers actually). She is a great granddaughter of Monster (one of Jesse James big ass pitts) and I think that makes her from the Gotti line (I not to sure, but my bro has the pedigree so I'll check it out again). I could really care less about it though. She is a great dog and has no issues (besides the fact that she is starting to go into heat ). This is tthe first pitt I have watched over and they are some of the coolest, strongest, and smartest dogs I have ever seen. I have had many other breeds, mostly giant breeds, and these little balls of muscle are a breath of fresh air to me. I still think she is kinda small (7 months at about 55-60lbs) but I think it would be great if she stayed this small.

I'm not sure about that 1, it's a screwy concept that wouldn't be tolererated by most orgs. or breeds . But You gotta love a good Bulldog when You see 1 ! I'll be getting My Pup end of January

Out of a very good breeding of Hard as nails Bulldogs The father has multiple Vrated SchH 3 titles , some Irondog titles & a couple of other Misc. titles & The mother is a Young up & comer & does very intense bitework. I'll post some pics @ a later date.

Kody........Looks like a fine bulldog, looks a lil leggy but'll prolly fill out over the next year & a half. Hows the dog bred ?

yea he is deff the standard type not the bully type...he is almost perfect to the breed standard for the standard type the only thing wrong with him is he has pink around his eyes and black is prefered on all white dogs he is only like 25" tall tho....all muscle i love him and all AB's they are great dogs but are a little stubborn....



and as for largemouth or whatever your name was if you had really studdied dogs you'd know it isnt called "police style" it is trained in shutzhund(sp) or frech ring etc... and youd also know that cane corso's arent the best dog for working they are good but they dont always have the best drive during bite work(tho some do and do it very well) i was looking into them as my next dog(as was my bro) and just because everyone has pits doesnt mean anything i would love an awsome bred APBT...and it appears to me that JFKB knows what hes talking about by reading his post and by reading yours doesnt look like you have a lot of room to talk...he also has personal experience with working dogs and shutzhund etc.. so think before you speak and dont be such an ***hole on the forums...

oo and great pics everyone ill try to get some pics of my dog playing with tugs etc...

its amazing how strong bully breeds are for how compact they are and espically how high they can jump amazed me(my dog could easily jump or fence luckily he doesnt know that yet)

Softturtle..........Nice dog, alot of those bigger pits are outcrossed somewhere back in their lineage w/ some kind of mastiff.Never the less they make great pets & I know of 1 in particular who is as hard nails.........He's a pro rated hunter w/ over 300 hogs under his collar & never wore a cutvest or collar on the hunts. He crushes a sleeve like a beast & has the nicest disposition imaginable , dosent even go after other dogs unless challenged.That being said............I'm not cazy about the 1's that are too overdone to the point of comprimising function.

I may know His lineage? people go nuts about pigment......I dont care ! They say it has to do w/ certain lines having Dogo in them. I don't worry about that stuff.....as they have so much other stuff in em anyway , so does it really matter ? I dont think so.....A good Bulldog is a good bulldog!

Don't waste your thoughts on that other guy........I laid it out as simple as I can !

not really sure of his lines i only have a few gen back of his pedigree i tried looking it up but not many sites have things for AB's...i got him from a lady here in town that knows breeders and gets certain puppys and sells them for breeders..ill try to post his pedigree or if you know any sites that i can look it up on(pics of parents grandparents etc...) ive seen his parents and a few of the grandparents...

yea i think he will widen up a little bit...im gonna switch his diet over to abady(which is what my bro feeds his rott) so that should help too...

no prob on havin your back i hate people who think they know all this $hit and dont even have a clue what there talkin about...thats like me givin people advice on saltwater which i know nothin about...

Yeah, I see some pits that are close to 100lbs and I think to myself..."how in the hell, is that dog on steroids or something?" But it makes sense that they could be bread with a big breed in the past. I am going to look through her pedigree and see (we have like 20+ gens back) if she has something like that. That hog hunting stuff is crazy man. I couldn't beleive it the first time I seen it. I don't think my Raven is going to be doing any of that. I guess her blood line has a bunch of pulling dogs in it and I think I'm going to have her do that. She's not that big, but she is strong as hell when it comes to pulling. She has broken so many collars and chains since we had her(I'll be cutting the grass or something and she decides she has to see what I'm doing and breaks her chain). Nosey little things.

Abady is excellent food.........IMO RAW is the best You can do,Time consuming & a lil costly.........I just like to do the best by My Dogs !

Softurtle.....You wont see mastiff in the dogs ped , the infusion of mastiff blood was done on the hush & the papers were hung ! Like the APBT line "Whopper" , for instance is founded on a dog who was a DDB/AB cross w/ no APBT @ all in Him.It's done in some cases to produce a bigger APBT for WP & Also to attract Pet buyers who want the biggest baddest looking Dog on the block........Or for sake of novelty like I had mentioned earlier. Good dogs are where you find em........So I don't discriminate, I like some of the Big Pits ! Just not the 1's that are so thick that they cant move like an APBT should, or 1's bred just for certain colors. Blue Grey is a sought after color in these dogs.We used to sometimes take a dog that had tight lines of all red dogs & Cross it to a dog that had tight lines of black dogs & We'd get Dogs of all different degrees of Sable to Blue. With some of these dogs, NEO,CC or Blue colored Bandogs have been bred into the line to asure this. Nobody wants an ugly dog, but I hate when people pick dogs for look........instead of for function, ability , or for an actual reason that they need a dog of that description.People tell Me all the time............"This Dog is Crazy !" & I tell em "A dog is generally a barometer of it's owner , You see a dumb dog & Usually it's cause of whats @ the other end of the lead.........Why try to turn a Working Breed Animal into a quiet couch potatoe ! "

That is no joke. These dogs need something to do all the time.

Question: What type of comps are good for pits and where? I have faith in my little puppy. Even if she can't win, I'd still like to see her compete.

i use meat when i train but thats it(which i need to start again) i will pm you his ped when i get home..sometime after the holiday or sunday sometimes thanks...
