Damn bro!!! That male is a pimp! I just talked to Darren and im really leaning toward getting som more midas; barred, yellow, and orange to add to this tank. Possibly a male Trimac as well and keep it mostly as an Amph tank, occasionally placing a festae in for a time out session. but after seeing all the beautiful pics of your guys midas and the shoals, i must say i would rather go with a shoal than just a pair:) so pure midas only and 1 trimac... No Labiatuim! lol Ill have to add another airstone and filter to the tank to withstand the bio load but other than that i think it will be fine with as many water changes i do.

yes plenty of water changes try an look for some red barred midas costa rican race the best

Thank you. Not too much aggression, the festae pair run the tank. I am getting more midas to add which will help keep aggression down. Then ill move festae pair into own tank.

Yes Sir! You can't go wrong with Midas! They are beautiful and as I told you before I use them to get my large festae pairs to bond. They are perfect dithers. You just have to know how to stock them with the festae and when to pull them out. Out of all the dithers I use, umbees, red tigers, trimacs and midas. Midas are the best dither for me. I used them for years and very seldom lost any. Midas hold a special place in this program. Of course I don't just use them as dithers. I have monster midas all over the place. TruMidasKing lives about a mile in the half from me. This turned out to be lovely for my program. Although My monster midas are superior in quality. It didn't hurt to go shopping for some more superior bloodlines and he certainly had what I was looking for. The creamsicles are everywhere now. That was the only ones I did not have. I have all the colors now! Lovely, Lovely!;) It worked out for him as well. He has gotten over 60 festae from me in the last three years.:grinno: So Jason Midas are a great addition to your program. They have grown nicely since you got them from me. :) Keep up the good work with them!

Darren

Thank you so much Darren:) I will love to get more from you to add to my collection, especially the other varients. Midas have grown to a close second in my book, contending with festae and umbees as my top two;)
