Yeah, very few distributors want to take that much time. If you ask if they have a hifin variety that would be the b. dematoides.

Its always nice to know that you know more about certain fish than the people that own an operate a LFS.
The mustard yellow coloration is actually the rarest of the L200s, but it is just found the farthest to the south. Of the two species b. dematoides is the rarer.

Figured Id toss up acouple more of my clown pleco an acouple I took of my l-146 bulldog pleco that I took today.
Ive yet to seen a Blue Phantom in any of the LFSs around here, i wish i could find one.davo;491382; said:
Thanks its hard to shots of the bulldog pleco, he manages to hide behind the heater inbetween the glass an the heater clip.
My LFS has a 1" L128 Blue Phantom. There is also a shop down south of here that had 2, but both died.

closest LFS to me has problems with fancy plecos staying alive, I gave up on having them getting me anything special. almost got my hands on a few King tiger plecos that they had as "Scribble plecos", but didnt like how they looked so I passed.
