It is around 9" cichlid fish, I guess I'll have to wait awhile if yours didn't show body differences till 12. I have also not heard the eye color thing, is that a rule or just a common trait?

Rapps produces some of the best fish...the rest is just good food and water. I do think my Jag has a lot more blue than most I have seen...however most I have seen have a purple body hue mine doesnt have.
I kick myself for not ordering 5-6 crassipinnis when I had the chance...given their smaller size I coulda had a killer 150-180G with a shoal of them. However I am lucky to have the one; Ive waited many years to find her.
