nice collection fish look really clean is that an Altum angel I never had any luck with them. I am surprised the oscar does not go after the other fish the Geo and angels

Yes that is one of my Altums I grew them out from 7 cm little guys the one in the pic is about 6" tall now. The O is in a seperate tank.

Very impressive fish. Obviously they like what you're doing for them.

Thanks, don't spill the beans but the trick is very clean water and low nitrates...........don't say anything or everybody' will be trying it.

Is that oscar one if the Marajo O's that Rapps has in stock? He looks great!!

I think it is a male, not sure but would venture to say yes, I haven't vented it. It is a very active and mellow tank 225 gallons of SA bliss.....lol. I have 2 wild cought Chocolates comming on Tuesday from TUIC. After talking to Jeff on Friday I decided to get them and see where it goes. I don't post many pics seems the SAs aren't as exciting as the CAs so not much interest, unfortunatly. Thanks and good luck with yours. Where did you get them?

i know what you mean about SA,overall just not as exciting compared to CA-to some keepers.but for me cichlids have such diversity that i could never get bored.i like having the lower aggression level of SA.i got 2 from fishhut in SB,3 from aquascape in belleville

Thanks, yes the chocolate is in with the angles. Zero agression very little interaction with the Angles, most of the time he hangs out buy that piece of driftwood blending in so well I sometimes look right at him and don't see him until he moves. He also does that classic choclate stairing at the surface thing. I got him I guess close to a year ago now at about 2" he pushing 5" now. One of my all time favorites along with Krobia Xinguensis.
