very nice boys... look very healthy and happy.
Thank you Liz

Excellent! I love the Regani especially.
Beautiful fish! You don't see enough good looking regani like yours.
Thanks, I've often wondered the same myself but not because there are a bunch of crappy looking regani out there (they're all splendid looking to me)- very few people keep them. I think people hear that they are skiddish and become put off. They are also very misrepresented in photos IME. The green is actually a super vibrant baby blue and the color on the fins is more of a 'hot pink' than red: gorgeous and glossy! Not the most outgoing but my male runs his 220 gal tank, punks my syns, and has a 7" umbee in check. He doesnt live with any bruisers and I've got my eye on that damn umbriferum but still, not too shabby if you ask me.
If either of you guys are toying with the idea, do it. From 6" on up you'll be in awe of the pretty things swimming around in your tank.

what a great looking bunch of cichlids. how big is the psitticus ,always wanted one.
He's probably around 10". He's so perfect with the smaller fish but such a jerk otherwise.

All of them look great. The carp and midas look really nice. I like the black flakes on the big midas. Those little sevs look to be really coloring up.
JD, I've had an awesome experience with both the sevs and the OH's that you sent me. I'd actually like to hear about your method for raising fry cause while you're obviously VERY adept at it. They all ate right out the bag and adjusted immediately. Very strong, healthy and fast growing- even under my care, lol.
I actually have some decent shots of the orange heads that I need to post. One of the males is starting to get the red and I'm very excited about that.

I love all of your fish, but that Midas is my favorite... the color is very one of a kind.
Thanks, this pair actually just got moved from a divided 150 to their own 110 which is perfect for them. It's in a great location in my apt too- right next to the sofa- so they both get lots of lovin'. I'll be posting an update soon.

Nice collection man, they look great. I love the midas and Cuban.
All of them look great. Nice pics to. I really like the Cuban
Awesome stock! Loving that midas and cuban.
Thanks guys! Great personalities in both of these guys.

Not sure the last fish in the first group of photos is a Dovii? Anyone else think it might be a Beani or something similar to a Beani. I have been wrong before but I am curious of others thoughts. Great looking collection of fish.
Thanks, this shot isnt the best but I was trying to capture the vertical yellow stripes on the back half of the fish. He's def a dovii tho. This is another fish with a unique trait that I haven't noticed on other specimens. Perhaps this is where the term 'Yellow Dovii' came from.

Amazing fish Ed, very nice! If I may ask how old is the carpintis? How big?
I got him at 2" in '09 or early '10. At the time he was about a half inch bigger than his siblings and now he's almost 2" bigger than the next male. I'd put him 8".

Thanks for the kind words everyone!
