More info needed! How do you catch South American Pacus and RT Cats in Indonesia? Are they introduced there? Is this some kind of artificially stocked fishing preserve?

Catching a RT Cat on hook and line is high on my bucket list.

Theya are most likely released from the aquarium trade. Unfortunate, but lots of the more common trade fish have made their way into waterways around the globe. Not great for local ecologies

in asia and south america, they have ponds where you pay to fish, and/or pay what you want to take. they are usually stocked with exotic species like tambaqui or pacus as well as arapaima and RTC and tiger sovelnose
