it took a year and 2 months to get to 15"???
I have had mine for 8 months and he's pushing 17". How big was she when you got her? So you have had her for over 3 years and she is 26" now? when did she really slow down? Just trying to gauge growth... she looked great and I am sure even better now.
 
damn this thing is growing fast, over 11" in 8 months...I guess I must be doing somthing right..... I hope

heres the thing

i did WC every month at the time and feed heavily, not a good thing:ROFL:

when i started doing 1-2 50% WC a week she took off!! :headbang2 :naughty:

been my routine ever since :)
 
What diet is/was it on? What would you attribute the drop eye to? I'd love to get a silver but fear the dreaded drop eye.
 
oh that makes sense. Waterchanges are critical aren't they. Its amazing what clean water does for growth. I did the samething on my first aro..

although people have many ideas what causes drop eye. I am 99% sure its genetics. Imbreeding has really screwed up there genes. I don't think diet has anything to do with it unless you severely overfeed them which is hard to do.
