Wow. You really think we will be around in 1000 years? Why is it okay for such a temporary species as a land mammal to sneak into earth's archives and damage things? Our research will die with our species. That coral will keep right on growing until the universe collapses. For perspective, how would you like it if an animal that lived for one day walked up to you, ripped your ear off just to look at it for a minute, then fell over dead? Our race has serious ego issues. We are not the end-all of wisdom and knowledge. We are just one page in a book too big to ever comprehend.
