The thing I can't figure out is why the flip MDF aquarium stands exist. I'm an engineer/designer and work with MDF on a daily basis. To put it kindly its probably the weekest thing you could use and its extremely vulnerable to water. MDF will warp/sag without water or extreme wait over a period of 6-24 months if not adequately supported. Meanwhile cheap pine is So flipping strong per lbs its insane you'd eve consider using MDF.
