many new born jaguar cichlids for sale should be molly size in about 4/6 weeks from now 1/8/07
beautiful tropical fish will go in community tank as long as there introduced early on £8.00 each 0r a pair for £14 once their a size to be sexed i will be putting the price up as they will be put in to breeding pairs .................

I couldnt belive it jaguar cichlids in a community tank ? when i used to keep them at 2" they could hold there own against big ca's

anyone else think this persons fishkeeping is a bit dubious

There are, of course, Cichlid community tanks.

I know a couple people who have them in community tanks but it only really works with large tanks/large fish esp. non-cichlids.. so there's a story behind saying they'll work in a community but they will sometimes.

yeah i knonw they can work in big community tanks eg 6ft tank plus but not many people have them. i havent found a placid jaguar cichlid in 15 years of cichlid keeping.

Mine is the exception to the rule I guess. Here's my Jag, he's over a foot long and in a community cichlid tank. The last photo are a few of his tankmates. Sorry the pics are not my best work lol. Notice the cichlids are all healthy with their fins intact. Actually the pile of driftwood is shelter for the others when he sometimes goes apesh*t on them but he's pretty laid back for the most part.

looks beautiful {the tank and the fish} I also have a jag {female} living in a community tank with some cichlids.. jewels, venustus, and green terror and oscar and they all get along perfect..
