FYI I am 45 years old been married to my first wife for almost 16 years of that and the funny thing about love at first sight is that it makes for a great life together. I would really hope that you are not taking a shot at me or my wife for having 8 kids and 1 on the way, because I most certainly do not take shots at people who choose not to have kids. Secondarily, I own a couple of businesses and have WORKED MY ASS OFF NON STOP FOR MOST OF MY LIFE STARTING AT THE RIPE AGE OF 12 DOING DISHES IN A GREASY SPOON TO GET TO WHERE I AM, so you are not talking to a 15 year old friend

You know how that works right? I wasn't unclear. Anyway, I took his statement as criticism of your decision to have a bunch of kids and that was my response. I guess you could say I was defending your decision. Paranoid much? I could care less about anything that goes on in your life...I just hate to see young kids running around on MFK criticizing adult's decisions. Maybe he wasn't criticizing, but I have to assume he was based on his history here. Carry on.

This is the second time this year that a child in Central Texas has been found dead after being unattended. In March, a 6-month-old girl died in New Braunfels after being inadvertently left in a car for nine hours.

This totally blew my mind. 9 hours??? How do you forget your kid for 9 hours?? Some people are just complete and total doorknobs. Unfortunately, it's their kids that suffocate, not them.

Wheeler said some ways to prevent forgetting a child in a car are to put a reminder in your phone about taking your child to daycare and leaving your purse in the back of the car so that you have to enter the backseat in order to retrieve it.

This is what kills me^^^ Why would he be giving tips to leave your kid in the car? How about don't leave kids in the car period???

My panties were never in a wad , as should be evidenced by my having soon to be 9 kids. I can totally id with what ya saying about a bunch of kids on this site though .

Just had to put my post out there for clarity sake to make sure no one thought to pass judgment on my family and I for our life choices.

On topic though, I honestly can not even conceive how someone could leave a child to themselves in any situation

That's the part that got me too. I realize, things happen...maybe you get distracted when you intended to be right back. BUT not for nine hours. Yeah I agree, I think drug issues were involved here.

You didn't quote Younglin. You quoted me. And as a 35 year old father with a daughter of my own, I do find the idea of 9 kids a VERY interesting set of decisions, but that's neither here nor there. I did not criticize him in any way, and I don't think he took it as such. People live their own lives, but when someone says they have 8+1, I do a double take.
