No apology needed. You earned it. All of us owe you!!!!

I still can't believe people would do that at their home. You don't screw someone over and let them know where you live. What idiots.

I see Karma having a surprise for them with the metaphoric squealing like a pig.

As a Brother to you, I wish to express my pride and gratitude for what you have done for God, Corps and Country, by expressing my deepest heart felt feelings, by saying THANK YOU. Thank You for all the selfless sacrifices you have experienced, those you made for us every day which you served our country in Iran, and those sacrifices you continue to deal with everyday. Thank You for all that you have done, for us here at home, to ensure our lives were a little more enjoyable each and every day. WELCOME HOME BROTHER. WELCOME HOME MARINE.

Being a former SSgt. - 0369/Infantry Unit Leader, I can understand your dilema. I feel your pain and anguish as well. I've been dealing with PTSD since 1981. I deal with it everyday too, but it becomes easier as time progresses for most of us. Your doctor is right. The more you talk about the events which we have experienced, it helps.

Most people don't understand that all we want when we return home, is to be the normal human beings we were when we left to serve our country. Sometimes that is not always possible and most times easier said than done. Through our experiences in keeping our country free from those who oppose our country's ideals of justice, integrity, loyalty and our freedom, many of us have been branded outcasts in an ungrateful society.

Most Americans will never experience these types of things in their lifetimes. I praise God for this small miracle. A great number of them just do not realize how lucky they are to have the small luxuries they take for granted everyday. So, USMCtanker. If you would like to further this discussion, PM me. I'll send you my e-mail address. Then you can contact me directly if you need to vent a little more than usual. I'll try and be that friend you need, if you're up to it.

Getting back to the thread issue, I know how it feels to be snubbed by someone when you've made deal to purchase a tank from them and then they back out of the deal, and don't have half an ounce of consideration in their moral fiber, to call. It really is annoying. But those type people are ignorant, ungrateful, and they need to black-balled on Craigs list. That way they will not be able to annoy others with their tank sale. But you did the right thing letting it go. Instead of letting loose with some form of a smoldering wrath. Hopefully, you'll find another one soon. In the mean time, we'll just have to continue searching in WA and OR State listings. I'll let you know what I find. Stay in touch.

P.S.- To some we are considered to be a Hero. The real Hero's will never return. Combat and War is serious and ugly. There is no glamour and no comedy. So for those of you who feel we are like some comic book hero, quit being an ostridge and get your head out of the sand.

It happens everywhere. I contacted someone on MFK, talked to him on the phone to work out a pick up time. Even cleaned out my 300 to make room for the new fish. Drove down to pick up the fish, and nothing. Didn't answer the phone or any PM's after. Very frustrating and aggravating.

Some people don't care about others time. I just don't know how some people can leave someone hanging like that.

ya i know, now the guy is hiting me up trying to get me to go back, lol thinking of saying sure but not

Well done holding yourself back like that. I understand how you feel man. I to have a case of PTSD....4 deployments can do that to you. But, anyways. Well done for holding yourself back.

You still have his phone number. I would just give him random calls in the middle of the night when the guys sleeping or post the number up on MFK so your friends on MFK can do the random calling for you. Like at 2-3 am or something like that. That would be my kind of justice.

What a tremendous waste of time but it was good that you were able to keep your composure especially after hearing what sounded like voices inside of the house...He'll get his one day.
