Some photos of my Red Piranhas

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
not sure about them adapting better to red light, i never tried it.. Thanks again for the compliments.. I was actually thinking of getting another one to make it 3.. I went the fish store the other night but they had no Piranhas at all.. I don't want them to be too crowded in there, its a 70 gallon tank so maybe 3 might be the max limit.

Yes 3  finally... someone who dosnt want to crowd their fish for their own amusment. good for you. :clap

Your reds look very healthy, but the larger one looks slightly "fat". Take a look at the region above the opercle (gill plate) and you will see that it has a sort of hump. You may consider a powerhead or something to expend some of their energy.

Other than that, good job not crowding, I myself have two caribe in a 113 gallon, and they definitely have more than enough room.
