Some picks of my Multispinosa juvies

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I got mine from Oliver, it's been a few months now and they are all doing good but I have to be careful not to overfeed them, they are very greedy eaters.
Do you have any updates to share? I'm thinking of getting a group but am curious about long term hardiness, dietary needs, and conspecific aggression. Thanks!

I have four left, one male and three females. The larger male and female are together in a 750 gallon tank and get along great.
I must say that I am a bit disappointed with the color of these fish.
Years ago I bought four multispinosa from Jeff Rapps and they were super nice. The color on the tail and face was the same as the ones I have now(from Oliver Lucanus) but the body on the ones from Rapps was Black.......the body color on the ones I have now is not even close to black and to me they don.t look as good.
Maybe they came from a different region.
Here are some pic's,
Close to 12 inches now.

sorry for the dirty glass.
Also these pikes eat everything and I have had them in temperatures from 78 to 86F (usually keep them at 80F),
PH-7.6, get along well with other fish and other pikes, good all round fish.

Thanks for sharing! I just picked up some tapajos for the third time. I may get some multispinosa but it would require me to rehome my johannas. Love the multispinosa since they are so rare but my johannas are very colorful..

Your pics are helpful to make the final decision.
