lol wer not really sure on any of that.
i got him because i was going to use him as part of my dance routines (obv nothing stressfull for him, im not evil) so i was looking for one around 6ft, and his owner said he was 7ft and would i be interested.
so i went and saw him and he came out, and i was like, hhmm im pretty sure thats not 7ft lol. the man then said no your right more like 10.
the man said he was 2, but then it came out he had only had it for 2 years and not since he was a bubby....so we reckon hes about 4.

hes shed twice since iv got him, so i can only assume he was fed as often as he should be as if only had him 5months and a snake his size shouldnt be shedding THAT regularly.

hes as soppy as anything, he loves his cuddles. as soon as i came back from holiday and walked in the room he was up at the glass, and my friend who had been keeping an eye of them while i was away said he hadnt come out at all while she had been there, and she had left the viv open for 2-6 hours depending on how long it took her to clean out and feed the rest of the clan.

hes my baby and his name is the childcatcher lol

wouldnt you be scared of gettin bit or do theyu get used to you or what??
i know id be scared :(

the only ones iv been bitten by are the corn snakes which arnt a dissimilar size to a bootlace lol
they r so docile, mine will only make a show or do a closed a mouth strike if they r shedding and i havnt noticed when i go to get them out.
if u treat them right and handle them properly and recognise when they r pissed off, then ur relativly safe.

as it is only me and my little girl im over cautious of my burm, hes soppy as anything but u still have to respect that he is huge and has the potential to kill both of us and also technically a wild animal. if he doesnt want to come out then he doesnt and i shut up the viv which has 2 locks on it. he doesnt come out when my lil girl is around. he gets fed regularly, gets plenty of exercise, correct temps and water and hides = happy snake.

lol my stagename is truly scrumptious (which i got from my snakes, i gota candy cane corn called truly and a bubblegum corn called scrumptious lol) so i needed to something that was also in chitty chitty bang bang, and the childcatcher started as a laugh but then its just made sense.

we have a burm x retic up the road from me going for 3k

tbh forget a dwarf, they do get huge but just make sure u get a male and dont powerfeed. my mum said i was stupid and irresponsible to get him, but if i had used him for shows i didnt want to use my mates as i dont know it as well as i would my own snake, and wouldnt want any added risk from performing with a large snake.

his viv is a bit small for him atm, but hes out at least once a day and when hes in his viv hes coiled up, and i hope i wont get lynched for this, but im not in a HUGE rush to upgrade because of that reason, but he will be getting a 8ft viv at some point in the next couple of months.

my mom says nothing over 7 feet untill i'm 18. i'm 13 now.:( how long would i have with a non-powerfed male bought at 1-2 feet? can't seem to find their growth rate anywhere.:screwy:

well mine is fed monthly on a rabbit, but before i think they only fed him 1 jumbo rat a month before...not good...and hes still 10.5ft.
go for a male boa??? or even an yellow annie, aggressive but can be tamed with work and dont grow huge + annies have a fairly slow growth rate.
but def go for a boa, LOVELY snakes, dopey as anything and entertaining to watch, oh and over here males rarely get over 8ft, 6-8ft is the norm.
