Why is the Asian so ****ed up?> What size tank is it?

Surely they have top notch filtration and water quality and diet? What are they doing wrong?

Joe - The tank is too small for a 20-30 inch aro.. its also old ive been told..so thats another consideration why its not active.

When I went to the NY aquarium last summer, I was very disappointed. They didnt have that many fish and one of the few fish I was hoping to see was the asian aro. Well I found it and it made me even sadder

It was in like a 55g or less. It didnt move just stayed in the plants I wasnt even sure if it was real!

Its true..i was expecting a juvy when i saw the sign,...i couldnt believe my eyes to see a 20 + red aro stuck in a small tanks.

what... are you serious.. they banned it and they could keep it.. worst is. they don't know how to take care of it!

they should just lift the banned... or better yet.. give that aro a better and bigger home to stay. isn't that like animal cruelty.. what if a full grown human being is placed to live in a 6x6 room with kitchen, bath and whatever it needs. and he is in a full glass case... wow.. that would be awful!
