awesome pics and polies, youve inspired me to want to get some... ha ha ha ha ha

very nice collection! I love the way that even between regular nigerians, there's a lot of variation. thanks for sharing! :)

thanks a lot for the kind words everyone :) i'll try to find a full tank shot.

as for the sand, its 3M Colorquartz. color mixture is 3:2:1 of tan:buff:brown. the black/white grains mixed in are from the little bit of Caribsea African Cichlid Sand i use.

INF: That's what those fish they are selling as Palmas look like at the store.

in that case, my guess is they are regular (nigerian) lapradei (1st two photos).

if they have irregular (kinda zigzaggy) stripes (i know its not quite the same, but think endli patterns), then they would be guinea lap. Patterning for regular laps are 'neater', and they're usually the ones with a somewhat darker horizontal stripe on the side, more defined on some individuals than others.

sweet laps, but how about a full tank shot?

-on a side note, does anyone else ever feel a little slimy asking for a "full tank shot"? I feel a little like a dude on spring break shouting "Show me yer tits!" or something. /end side note

LMAO

And yes awsome fish!

Thanks :)

heres the tank. not the most recent shot as you can see from the lack of algae on the wood...and not much to look at as far as aquascaping goes. still need some larger pieces and lean them against the back or something...no money for that right now lol
