Some pics of my female Boesemani

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
All of my rays are from freshwatersting ray .nl and i would always buy my rays from them, I have only had her and the pearls for two weeks so no sighn of breeding yet, I do have a king henlei that is ready and willing but it seems a sham to put him to her! i would much rather try to find a male boesemani. Is there know one that imports them?

Only known importer is Oliver.

We have been hoping for YEARS to have the chance to get them and every year we get NOTHING.

I myself would much rather breed her with something then nothing.

Enjoy how lucky you are to have such a unicorn, rather then be put off cause you only have 1. Maybe this thread will bring to light just how lucky you are to have such a sought after ray. I'd gladly give someone a tank full of rays for just 1 Bosemani. :(

BD X Bose would be great ! Nice ray, one of my favorite!

Nice ray but P.boesemani is described to have "deep orange ocellated spots of irregular form". The spots on your ray seem a bit light and uniform. Just a personal observation.

that ray is sweet! my friend and i have been looking for some of these but cant seem to come across any. if you would be able to pm me or something to be able to acquire a few that would be awesome.

thanks

i know they are rare as xxxx and they are the next big thing but to me they are just like a high grade light base motoro

but still looks nice just cant see why people get so excited about them

i saw them in the flesh a month or so ago when i went to frank/nicos place but cant say they pulled me away from the black rays

as for mixing it with a pearl thats right lets mess up the blood line as soon as we find a new type of ray

The color is light because it has been recently shipped. If you look at pictures of recently shipped or imported P. Boesemani they are always light but darken up with time and good care.

Like mentioned by Peezy this is a fish I have been hunting for. Most specimens in Europe with a few that I tracked up to Nova Scotia and Canada. I am sure that people have them hear in the states but I have just not seen any. Apparently getting these fish out of Surinam is dang near impossible. Which really stinks for ray keepers like us because this is in my opinion the best looking ray around. Once they settle in and color up I say they blow p13, p14 and any hybrid I have seen away all day every day.
