Never recommend to house young aro with much bigger aro in the same tank sharing the same water. You will realise the small aro dun grow as fast compared to keeping them by themselves. The growth hormon in the tank which the bigger aro released in there actually prove slowing down the growth rate alot on smaller one.

now only i notice why ur rtg abit jumpy... it's becoz u put it in the same tank with a bigger aro... sure jumpy

His tank is cycling right now. Its been about 3 weeks now. Its almost done. Dont worry he wont be in there much longer.

If the tail didn't grow even in the future, then you might need to do some "operation" on it....which is cut the whole piece of tail fin off and let it regrow again.
