Hey Joe i read through the thread and I may have missed it, but what kind of plants do you have in there? Specifically the ones growing on the driftwood on the right. And any other names you can remember of the top of your head?

Also are you using co2 or just fertilizing it?

that's my low light/low tech setup, it runs a little under 1.5 wpg, no pressurized co2, i just dose it with flourish and flourish excel.

as far as plants go, there are crypts in the back left, anubias growing on the driftwood in front of it, some hygro, red melon swords, and e. tenellus on the bottom in front of the driftwood. theres some rotala growing next to the crypts in the back, java fern and java moss growing on the driftwood in the center, pennywort wrapped around the driftwood on the right, and crypts growing on the bottom in the front on the right... i think that's all of them
 
Thanks a lot for the list joe, and one last question, what kind of substrate are you using?

I want to do something similiar to yours with my 55g and trying to get some ideas.
 
its just a mixture of really fine gravel and some other gravel thats a bit bigger
 
WOW great tank !!! I just got back into the hobby got a small 45 gallon until I upgrade great pics !!!
