Aren't plecos a good filter? Cause that what I have in my Bio-Orb with my Arapaima, some Pacu and a couple RTCs.. Haven't done a water change in about 1.5 yrs..

well, my pima is doing great in the betta bowl, no pleco, no filter..he stays upside down, so poop shoots out of the water and lands on the floor, the perfect pima tank.
