The more I think about them both being male dovii's the more it bums me out. The biggest reason I decided to purchase the new 300 was because I wanted to move all of my fish except for the dovii to the 300. I wanted to keep the male and female dovii in the 210.

i agree - both those dovii look male to me. the smaller one you thought may have been female seems quite stressed, hence why his colours aren't showing much, but you can definitely make out dots in the anal and dorsal fins. personally i'd keep both males and get a female in there. it will create a bit of competition between the males and the dominant one will look killer
