Get them off chicken ASAP, if you can't get pellets get them on Talapia with Vita-chem at least. Food and water conditions are the main contributor to color and health, the tank only changes how the colors are shown.

Can you please elaborate some more. I will try tilapia today. They seem to love chicken more than anything else. Anyway, I would like to know what the negative effects from feeding chicken are, just for my knowledge.
