First the nigers were about 6" and 8" when we got them less than two years ago.Well spotted on the wharf tanks,the stands were made by a local firm to their design for weight,they are all 4" welded steel,the larger one weighs over 400lbs.Taking no chances there.The nigers though did come from wharf as did our mbu,longibarbis,gars and many other fish including 7 species of polypterus.

Here are some of our tanks. As you will see we have the big ones on 4" box steel stands, one above the other. We have 8ft ones on top, 7ft underneath apart from Hamish and Gabriels tanks which are the bigger ones and wider ones.
Some of the fish you can see in the tanks are now moved as they have grown.
