Their parents were assumably pinks. SMASH was the only marble in a batch of pinks. The female I paired him with was also a single marble from a batch of pinks. Both came from different shops and when crossed all their offspring turn out well marbled.
There are a ridiculous number of sp. sax group pikes. I bought mine as sp. Pernambuco but that turned out to be false. A member here helped me pin an ID from his knowledge of what the locals are keeping and distributing. I had 2 others but neither of them were female.
