Evercl, that tank looks TOO healthy.

Do you have much problem with shading out other plants???
Yeh, there are some shading issues. I'm attempting to get corkscrew val to grow in the area behind the amazon. I had to buy new val's since the ones I had weren't tall enough to fend for light. 70% of the leaves on the L repens have fallen off, do to itself drowning out itself. Other than that, not many problems.

Anyway any feedback on the 36in version of this light
http://www.aquariumplants.com/product_p/jbjdx.htm that would put me a 7.3wpg and it looks pretty ninja.
7.3 wpg is alot for a person new to plants. You'll grow plants, and a hell of a lot of algae. I would suggest sticking with a lesser-output light for now. Or you could run just half of the lighting.... until you get the hang of fertilizing and the behavior of your tank, ease up on the lighting. You'll end up growing algae and it will p1ss you off. I only have 390wt over my 120gal = 3.25wpg, and mine is 24 in tall. I don't remember the wattage on Wildfya's tank, 600 something I believe, putting him in the 5 wpg range. It's not all about wpg, it's about balancing CO2, P, N, K, Fe, Mg, Ca.....

I was going to put some angels and some small plecos in this tank, any suggestions on plecos that wouldnt eat my plants and would stay small?
If you like angels, go for it. I won't keep them because angels eat shrimp, and shrimp are great cleaners (algae, dead leaves, leftover food). As for pleco's, I only have a rubberlipped pleco. Remaining cleanup crew: 5 SAE's, 6? otocinclus, farlowella, florida flag fish, 8 nerite snails (just got them last week), ghost shrimp (until my cherries decide to breed).
