I can't get them to stay anywhere so they are floating now

I've heard that they should be okay floating. I have some trimming that float around for about a week and when they start to root, I plant them. It seems that they uproot, but after a couple of tries, they stay put.

If I plant them in the rocks the stem falls off maybe they are just to weak right now

If you add any liquid CO2, that will help their growth tremendously. I also keep my plant tank on a timer. It gets 6 hours of light and I dose it 1-2 times a week.

yeah I think I'm going to try some fertilizer in liquid co2 soon
