You'd probably be okay with any of the palmas variants, they're similarly sized.

I would love a Poly. Palmas. Beut... I think the del and another sen is a 100% cert..I might chance my luck and order online :D

wow, good age to start
i had my first silver aro with my older brother when i was 6 lol
i remember, i was born in philiippines, they dont teach you anything in the pet shops, they just catch the silver arowana with their hands and chuck it into a bag.

they had about 100 in a small 200 litre tak lol
we changed thhe water and ddint age the water long enough, and it died, i remember trying to do mouth to mouth on it lol funny

anyways, 75 gallon US? thats 300 litres.
in my opinion, thats a tad small to have that many fish. even with your multiple 4% water chanes a day totalling to 20% whcih makes sense:) you might have too many fish, or feeding them too less!
i reckon get rid of the other fish, focus on the bichirs?

but, if you do the maths, doing a 20% water change once a week will be less hassle than everyday, how much time do you spend everyday?
if you semi automate your systems with a small investments in hoses to drain and hoses to fill, i tihnk you will be pleasantly surprised that 2x 20% water change weekly isnt so hard, and that would enable you to keep all your fish.
i really dont thinktht many fish in that tank is a good idea.

whats your nitrate, nitrite and Am levels like?

by the way, awesome to see someone so young gettng into the hobby!!!

Ive been in the hobby for like... 8 months.. I had a community tank with rainbowfish and gouramis ect..BORING..lol

Params are all low...Never any ammonia.. Sometime there is a tad of nitrate/nitrite..But after a W/C theres nothing.. :)
