some questions on a sump

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Just pick some up at the hardware store while your there. You shoule be able to get the fittings and the hose you need to hook it up. If you don't want to do hose, you could buy the PVC you would need to hard plumb the pump.

Hard plumb?

Using pvc would be cheaper than running tubing, if your going for cost effective.. Looks like you just need the right amount to run from the overflow box to the sump, with some elbows, then the amount to run back up the the tank, with a connector from the pump to pvc, and then some more elbows to get it up and into the tank. Spraybar could be a piece of pvc w/holes drilled and a cap on the end.

All you will need is about 6-7 feet of PVC a few elbows and a threaded adapter and you could have the pump ready to go. If you have PVC glue lying around, it would be really cheap.

So it sounds like I should get the pump and overflow, then evaluate what other pieces I need

Yes sir!
