didnt know you had a snakehead.
auranti?

Yeah, that's an auranti. I gave up the mind of keeping the auranti which is my favorite snakehead. I kept more than 6 of those (max 3 at one time), but, they all gone for some reasons.

all gone?
eaten?
or sick?

Those I got juv ones didn't last more than two month. The one the photos shown last more than 3 years which was already 10" when I got them (there were three of them), and all three were gone after I moved them to the SR arowana tank which tank is kept at a bit lower PH value. I did move two of them back to the original tank when 1st of them died, but, both still gone in a week. I don't want any casualty, so I quit, not to mention the LFS don't want to sale any auranti to me.:banhim::banhim:

Well, since I'm quite getting used to the strong environmental durability of the bichirs, I would say "yes" the auranti is water condition sensitive as compared with bichirs. Anyway, those monster type of snakeheads are quite strong to the environment unlike those sub-foot type smaller snakehead species.
