Some recent bass

Thanks guys.
The bass came from Lake Perris, Puddingstone, Diamond Valley and Silverwood. Most of the fish were caught on the shaky head with Zoom finnesse worms, the good ol" Texas rigged 6" purple worms and brown football head jigs.

I hear you man, I would also be missing those Southern bass, but I'm pretty sure you have nice smallmouth fishing in Montana. What is the average size for Montana bass?

well the biggest lg mouth I've caught was prolly about 4 lbs, and I haven't fished for sm mouth, cause I discovered pike fishing still like to find a bass every now and then though. not sure on the average really, maybe 3 or 4 lbs. our state records are:
lg Mouth: 22" 8.3lbs
sm mouth: 21" 6.6lbs

and that's south of where I live (20 miles from canada)
I mostly trout and pike fish here though. then if I visit family down south I bass fish, or hit the bay. I'll go dig up some pictures.

Pike fishing sounds like a blast, I've always wanted to fish for pike and musky.
I can imagine the scenery there is unbelievable. I look forward to some of the pics. of your fish.
