Very nice marbles!

The last one is one of the nicest Marbles I think I've ever seen.....

All are really nice. Just amazing.

Definetly agree on the size thing. I have several here that grow really slow.

That male is a beauty Jeffers! The preg female isn't too bad herself ;) Very good looking trio.

Very nice Andy.
I see two very very nice examples there.Im not sure of the exact locality of this type of Marble but i reckon ive seen enough of them to have established that this is a smaller ray than my AAA Marbles and the earlier Marbles that were imported for instance.I've got a pair myself and the males fully mature and hasn't grown a cm in the past 18 months(he's 11" disc). We imported some 11" females a couple of years ago, these were already gravid and one gave birth to 4 fully developed pups that were tiny compared to my MM pups which are born with a 14cm disc, these pups were half that size.
I don't have scientific proof of any of this its just an observation.
How big is your gravid female? i guess no bigger than 14-15" disc?...oh and how big is dad also.
Good luck with the birth.

well my male is a little guy as well prolly about 11" but the female that is gravid i got in about 2 months ago with movement already on her back. she was prolly 8" when i got her and now maybe 10" or 9.5". and wow 11" with four pups i can only see one of them moving on my girl i couldnt imagine seeing that. i will keep you updated with the birth as soon as it happens

man those are nice! I hope the ones I end getting turn out looking as good.

? as the Marble mature is when the spots collide/change etc.. into something like these?
thanks

patients and luck is what it took for me. thank you and will be waiting to see some pics for you.
also marbles change alot. after a while you can tell the ones that will usually turn out better but you can still be very surprised.

I think she is only 9-10" and came in pregnant. We are all waiting very patiently to see what the pups look like.

i know it its driving me crazy. i love it when it looks like the pup blows down like its digging in sand. that part is really neat to see.

Gorgeous! How old are they? I know very little about rays...

these three are all wild cought so the age would be hard to tell.

Nice pics, your fire eel is as fat as mine.

Interested in small variant motoros...I think that could be a good bloodline for the hobby?

There you are then, another example,i don't generally make statements like this without i think there is some substance behind them.......watch this space!

Jeffers, I agree with the others that the marble with the black looks great. Can't wait to see what your pups are going to look like. Keep us posted.
