Okay so I'm starting a tank thats 200 gallons. The only fish that is going to be in there will be a silver Aro and I wanted to get two rays. Which two rays will be suitable for this tank. I wanted a motoro but those guys get huge and now I'm hearing teacup (reticularis) can get big as well.

Whats a suitable ray for my tank? A long term not short term.
 
What's the footprint?

Trop aquatics in Lombard will get them in sometimes.
spotfin spotfin has pups too.

I talked to them been there before they said its a hit or a miss they got someone locally who breeds motoros and selling them now. They got teacups in there as well but after doing some research they get pretty big.

Also he is from Maine. I will not buy any rays that are being shipped. Reason being is I like to see my product before I get it. Letting the rays eat in front of my eyes and watching them swim and making sure they're healthy. I'll probably swing by tomorrow and see if they can order me some in. I'll ask for mini marbles as well.

Also whats the normal "big" size these hystrix or mini marbles get? Looking to keep these for a very long time.

He's very accommodating. He probably would send you a video if you want him to. Lots of members have pups from him.

Got my male from jason a year ago picked out which one I wanted from several pics. Ray was packaged very nicely and in super great health upon arival, and I'm in ohio. Started on pellets right away which is a huge bonus and they are CB pups. You will be very happy with one of Jason's pups.

Thanks! I just called Tropi aquatics and they are going to get some in within this month. Tea cups and hystrix would be at 60 which is a good deal. Their motoros are 160 each which is still a good deal for a lfs
