When keeping silver aros with cichlids, the aro should be twice the length of the cichlids. A 6" oscar(which is a cichlid) could make very short work of a 6" silver aro. Once the aro was near death the oscars will feast on it. So when you come home to no aro and can't find it anywhere on the floor, think of this post and notice the bellies of your Os.
