Why so defensive? If you can adequately house a fish i see no problems telling people they are in a smaller grow-out tank...

It just irks me that people on this site think they know me, my fish and how I keep them. I'm clearly aware of the TSN abilities and growth rate. I have no problems with his housing and when he'll be moved. I simply posted photos of my fish in my 100-some gallon tank because I was bored and thought some people on here might actually want to see them and not make snarky comments like I'm some fish worker at wal*mart. The arrogance of the internet fish keeper is appalling.

Fair enough i guess, but not every ones like that...

Anyway back to the fish :)

SPeaking of the hot button issue, my TSN actually has a "nemo" fin...when I bought him I thought he'd simply been bitten in the tank, but it's never grown...and he CLEARLY has. The severum is new, from jeff rapps, it's starting to bulk up. My pearl eartheater is the old man...had him about 5 years now. He's as big and bossy as eartheaters get...he acts like a terror. When I got him it was sold to me as an "aurora eartheater"...which he is not. The basketmouth cichlid is fairly new too, got him with the severum...he was hiding though. I really like him. He's probably my #1 concern with the TSN in that tank...not the severum. They all were in the same tank, but I split them up...putting my african knife, tire track eel, and albino bichir with some silver dollars and 2 random kribs in another (smaller) tank. I lost a paratilapia polleni recently...it never acclimated right from shipment...which is a huge disappointment. I haven't lost a fish in years...strange to have it happen...I might go after another.
