Some trouble with goldfish!!!!

ANd after the fish is cured.. Pull the heater.. Goldfish do much better in lower temps :)

Leave the heater in, just set it at the lower setting. If she does get a cold snap ( a/c or winter) it's already there to take care of it. 10g tanks are not a large thermal mass and can vary greatly, quickly.

Thanks so much Dr. Joe, I read her the entire message you sent to me and we are going to break down the whole tank tonight and I have some Aqua Safe, salt, and an extra heater I am going to take out there and help her get it all fixed up. Dr. Joe thanks so much again. You have been such a great help. LOL
 
Well, just got back from my sisters and we stripped the whole tank down, washed the gravel, decorations and tank and reinstalled everything. Added salt, aqua safe and the fish, they look to be doing fine. I guess we will wait and see. I also added my heater and have it set on the lowest setting, which is 70 degrees. I will keep you guys posted as to how the fish is doing later. Thanks again.
