Nice update, def liking Chalk.. i love the oddballs, or different looking fish, they always make for good pets and seems to be more special...

Unfortunately the congicus only come out during feeding time and today isn't feeding day.
I'll try to get a pic of it tomorrow.
Haha those 2 made their home under that driftwood and I just happen to see it from that point of view while trying to get a picture of the congicus's head.
We got from the same batch. Baby teugelsi are awesome!

Yup I noticed the black substrate brings out the greeness in my upper jaw species except for the ornate, palmas and senegal.
The teug is only 4" now and ate the bloodworms infront of me today (normally it would wait till the lights are out)
He is a cute little fellow. One of the most active and curious bichir I have.
Always nudging and checking out the lazy lower jaws bichirs as they rest on the bottom.
