i cut some tomato and put it in there, poor think looks like lifeless, i have the heat lamp on and made sure he had water before i came up and am going to bed. I will try to look into shipping (if i can) but if anyone close to me wants him he is up for grabs

any idea what the temps are under the lamp? shouldn't be more than 95f.

Tomato is bad!
It is to acidic for most animals lizards included... so i wouldn't risk feeding it this guy....
Your best bet would be to provide a good clean water bowl and some simple leafy greens or romain lettuce in a pinch.... if it will take them... Some lizards can take tomatoes but best to just avoid all acidic things and not risk it.

stay away from any and all lettuce.

try dandelion greens, mustard greens, collard greens, grated carrot, butternut or yellow squash, shelled peas, mango, apple..etc..

Shipping would not be good for the thin guy. I think the people in PA who are interested should make the effort to go down and pick it up.

nice save. brilliant that you are doing what u can for him.
hopefully someone will come get him x

I agree, if you cant find anyone in PA i would say fatten him up and ship him then but i am sure such a unhealthy specimen would not make it through shipping.

You're over 2 hours from me and there's no possible way for me to meet you this week. :( But if you need some help shipping PM me. I can tell you how to go out about doing it. I guess you could also put the lizard on your local craigslist.

Why does that thought scare the living heck out of me on who that lizard would end up with.
