Someone help this oscar

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
36"x18"x18" is exactly 50 gallons (well, 50.62). Anyways, as I've said, the ad stated AT LEAST a 50 as MINIMUM...not "a 50 gal is an ideal and spacious tank for life"

As a minimum I don't see an issue, not worth making a thread over anyway.

Whenever I see on the news that the police call off the search for a missing person, it always upsets me. Because that means that there's a chance that someone out there is far better at hide and go seek than I'll ever be. im the best hide and seek player in the world

^Why copy and paste my signature in the thread? What relevance does it have?:screwy:

"3'x18"x18" wouldn't be 55 gallons but alright."-Retuks It actually does come out to 55 gallons...Well what people consider a 55 gallon tank.

In any case, this is much better than a lot of the poor fish I see on Craigslist, living in pea-soupy green water, five year old Pacu who are twelve inches long, ten gallon tanks that come with a free Oscar, etc. If I were to have an Oscar, I'd say 75, minimum. But this guy's advice isn't that bad. He seems to care about the fish enough to mention some aspects of care.

Yah, I wouldnt say 50-55g is Ideal, but its not BAD either. Oh well I have seen people blow a gasket over 4 O's in a 180 SCREEEEAMING that each O must have 60g per fish to be happy, despite the fact that all 4 oscars were very healthy, fat, happy and looked tip top. :screwy:

Oh, and I have 4 Oscars in a 75 =P
