Should be here in about three weeks.:nilly: Did some preliminary work on the stand. Far from finished, I will have to take this apart to get it to it's final locale.

that looks like its gunna be awesome

Nice -------But needs less stand building and more turbo on eg :naughty:

Appears to be a large tank and weight. How does one get the tank onto the stand.

I am planning a 300g and am thinking a cherry picker engine hoist.
But can I lift from top openings with supports inside; and will hoist legs go under stand. (Tenecor setup).

Still planning, but your stand looks healthy enough to hold a tank of that size!

The tank is acrylic and has a shipping weight of 639lbs, though 150~200 of those lbs will be packing. I will be using lots of man power to move this tank. It will have to be brought in through a window.

Biggest concern with weight will be re-enforcing the wood framed floor it will sit upon:eek:

more to come....

Looks like it will house a 450 gal? (96x36x30).

Yup, you got it

I disassembled and reassembled the stand. The fish room it goes in got real small all of a sudden. Next step will be re-enforcing the floors
