When they delivered my 350 (about 450 pounds crated) I had it moved off the liftgate onto a pair of furniture movers...those little carpeted things with wheels. I then pushed it into the garage. Basically, you just need enough guys to lift the thing onto the stand. Make sure they remove rings and watches so they don't scratch the tank. Also, keep two guys in the middle to prevent the tank from flexing.
Thanks for the tip, I am planning on unloading into a pickup bed. This way I can move into the garage and then to the window that it will have to be carried through. Hopefully this will eliminate some lifting and carrying.

CONGRATS! that is gonna be sweeeet. What are you gonna put in there?
Main stock will be my two 27" silver aros, hoping my 19" black will live peacefully also. Will also be home to rotkeil severums, G altifrons, G Brasiliensis. From there I am kinda undecided. I would like to keep it all South American, but I have a 26" tire track eel and 3 9" suncats I would like to add.

Nice, I would love to see the pic process you use to re-enforce the floor...
Lots of pics to come. I actually have two floors to support. The floor the tank sits upon and since the basement floor is also a wood subframed floor, I am going to have to add support there too

Nice stand but for a tank that big and heavy I would've notched the 4x4's so that the 2x4's would rest on and within the 4x4s. Putting 2x4s vertical along side the 4x4s in between the 2x4 cross members would help the same.
Thanks for the tip, the stand still need to be finished. This is just the piliminary work. I started the build in the garage, then had to disassemble and move into the house. From here it will receive the remainder of the work.
