That isn't an Ansorgii.
Dr. Darius has just provided new evidence (?) that suggests that it's more likely a PBB or Lapradei.

Hows the feeding going? my 60cm+ Bichirs all got to the point where they need a feeding schedule all of their own!
Mostly Pangasius fillet, supplemented with Massivore, beef heart and Shrimps!
do you feed more or less when they reach such a size? this guy is not shy about getting food but i am not always here to monitor its feeding since i spend most of my time in camp.
diet wise i go with pellets, shrimp and whole/fillet market fish

I prefer Bichirs not to be fat, but I found my larger ones got irritant and aggressive if they didn't have a decent pig out at feeding. (compared to the smaller Bichirs)
It's down to the fish and your wallet I guess, but trust me mate, they can get unhealthily obese real quick if your not careful.
