Well considering the species of Sharks - in the photos - namely Nurses & a Zebra. Nurses tend to be very tough for a shark - including being able to tolerate poor water quality. So that can explain why they're still alive.
Still - based on these photos - I would say the tanks need cleaning - A.S.A.P.
Also larger tanks with a better filtration system would be very helpful.
