i have the same thing, it's orangish brown and sticks to gravel really well, my theory is thats what hydras hatch from, i've been told hydras are harmless and show you have good clture, although it's ugly. ANy advice on getting this out is appreciated. hydra (as I know them is a small squiggly line you see moving in the tank, i'll see a lot when I stir up certain parts of the tank, usually areas under logs where the water is still, seeing your pic looks like what I get though.

i know what u mean though, my bichir was on guppies for awhile and he had big dark turds, now that hes on freeze dried baby shrimp his poop i lighter and almost like that, except not exactly. I don't think you should worry.

I make lots of different sized turds in lots of colors, no worries, its most likely fish poo. Just vac it up

Thats funny but an excellent annalogy.

I recently had a problem with parasites and changing poop size. (not me, my fish). I have also had changes with color when I changed fish food. Your shrimp may have an affect on the color since the color in shrimp are used in fish foods to enhance color in fish. Your fish does not look like it is bloated with parasites so I would not worry.
