you need to kick the temp up alot

you need to get the temp to 82-84

It looks like your tank is on the ground? That could very well be the reason why. Being a surface dweller, when the aro notices you walking by or something approaching from above, he may feel threatened and retreat to the bottom until he feels safe. Survival instinct. Is he eating at all?

you should also raise the temp, IMO you should be around 82-84...does he look alright? or just acting weird? test your water. let us know.

He is in a 20high now until i buy a 90 GAL but now he is up top again and eating too

82-84 is better

i see from your pics you have a heater their is no reason for the temp to be so low
